Chelsea Branco is PSI’s newest Junior Project Manager and she’s learning the business under the tutelage of Vice President of Operations, Jason Taylor. Chelsea graduated from UMass Dartmouth this past June with a degree in Mathematics, and we are delighted to have her onboard.
One thing that’s really neat about Chelsea is that she is part of the “family.” Her grandfather, John Taylor, whom she refers to as “Papa” was PSI’s first employee. John was hired in 1972 and worked here at PSI throughout his entire career. He became PSI’s first retiree in 2010. Jason Taylor, who happens to be John’s son and Chelsea’s uncle, has been PSI’s Vice President of Operations since 2013. He began his career as a plumbing apprentice at PSI straight out of vocational school and, over the years, worked himself up through the ranks to where he is today.
Why is this important to you? Because it’s an example of our company’s longevity. With longevity comes experience. In other words, we know what we’re doing! When you hire PSI, there is no need for extra “hand-holding.” Because of our experience, we can perform in-house engineering that will make your project work…the first time. If you’re a production or facilities manager, you never need to worry about loss of production because of inexperience or incompetence on the part of the contractor. If you’re a property manager, you won’t have to worry about having to “shut the building down” due to contractor inexperience or incompetence. And, if you’re a project manager, you won’t have to chase us to force us to uphold our contractual obligations.
