RUNNING LIKE AN ANTELOPE
L-R: PSI Team Member Bruce Bouchard and grandchildren, Pauline Lally, Nick Snow, Team Member Lynn Russell, Diane Taylor, Team Members Jason Taylor and Greg Brewer. Missing is Paula Bouchard.

The third annual Run Like An Antelope 5k was held this past October. Although the skies were cloudy and drizzly, it was apparent that the participants did not allow the inclement weather to dampen their spirits. The race is sponsored by a group of very dear friends of Megan Lally, who died from breast cancer in 2011 at the age of 30. Her friends and spouse formed a non-profit organization named after her, the Megan Lally Memorial Fund.

Each year, the group has raised funds for breast cancer research specializing in research for metastatic breast cancer for the UMass Memorial Cancer Center in Worcester, Mass.

This year, owner Pauline Lally, Megan’s mother, issued a challenge to her team members: PSI would donate $5 towards each kilometer walked or ran by a team member or a member of their immediate family. There were 13 participants who each walked or ran the five kilometers, resulting in a total donation of $650 towards the fund. A total of $16,000 was raised this year. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to all who participated.
